Align
We began with a two-week Product Discovery sprint to deeply understand the healthcare experience within the African-American community.
Through interviews and journey mapping, we uncovered deep barriers of trust, accessibility, and representation. They explain why so many people still feel left out of traditional healthcare.
Working closely with founder Andrew Suggs, we defined the opportunity: reconnect people to care through trusted community channels and positive reinforcement.

Prioritize
Our discovery insights revealed two user mindsets: one driven by efficiency and goal-tracking, another by connection and community.
We focused on onboarding, biometric logging, and appointment scheduling as early engagement moments — key to building healthy habits and lasting motivation.

Prove
With only seven weeks to launch, we designed and delivered a Progressive Web App built around measurable actions and immediate feedback.
Five UX/UI iterations refined how progress and rewards were shown, ensuring the experience felt intuitive and empowering.
This agile process allowed rapid validation of core hypotheses about user engagement and health-behavior adoption.
Integrate
To sustain growth, we created the Live Chair Health Design Kit — a library of reusable components, icons, and layouts.
This toolkit helped accelerate iteration and ensure brand consistency across every release, letting the team focus on improving user outcomes instead of redesigning details.
