Building a Brighter Tomorrow: Arionkoder Partners with UNICEN

In our quest for a better future, one thing we’ve learned is that we’re stronger when we’re united. When we come together with like-minded individuals and communities who share our dreams, real change happens. Today we’re thrilled to share that we’ve teamed up with Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia De Buenos Aires, Argentina (UNICEN).

Universities are hubs of knowledge and innovation, and this partnership is a wonderful way to craft better futures for humanity, together. This collaboration will extend into various dimensions, including academic, scientific, cultural, and social domains, as we collectively reshape the way we contribute to our society.

One of the most exciting aspects of our partnership is our engagement with the Yatiris lab, focusing on Computer-Assisted Medicine, at the Pladema Institute. Together, we’ll drive forward pioneering research projects, fostering innovation and advancing the boundaries of human understanding. We’ll share knowledge, information, and publications as well as joint research initiatives to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

At Yatiris, we’ll help Retinar eradicate diabetic retinopathy. This is the first avoidable and irreversible cause of vision loss worldwide, especially among people suffering from diabetes. By creating a machine learning model able to analyze color fundus images, we increase early detection of the disease and quick treatment.

We’ll also support NORAH at Yatiris, a new machine learning model capable of diagnosing neurodegenerative diseases and advancing brain health. By characterizing asymmetries in subcortical brain structures beyond volume, NORAH detects deviations and quantifies altered brain structures for quick treatment and improved quality of life.

At the heart of this collaboration are our dedicated leaders, who will be the bridge between Arionkoder and UNICEN. Our CEO, Martin Bouza, and AI Lab director, Jose Ignacio Orlando, will play pivotal roles in ensuring the success of our joint efforts.

With this partnership, we’re on a journey to turn our shared vision into reality—a future that’s better for all of humanity. It’s not just about research, discoveries, or technological advancements; it’s about the hope and joy we get from knowing we’re crafting a brighter, more promising world.

As we take this exciting step forward, both Arionkoder and UNICEN beam with pride and welcome this new chapter with open arms. Together, we’ll elevate and help others elevate. Come join us as we set out to create a world that’s better, brighter, and closer!
